Question :

Lesson plan help teacher to guide the class. Someday you will be a teacher and to be a good teacher you need to make a good plan too. Good lesson plan have characteristics definitely. How important lesson plan to a teacher and what are characteristics that should be in a lesson plan? explain your answer!

Answer :

To be a good teacher we need a well developed lesson plan. We prepare everythig to make the lesson running well. Can you imagine a teacher doesn’t have a lesson plan?, what will the course will be?, what will be in class when a teacher don’t know what to say? Don’t know what to do when the class running a half!. It may be broke or the teacher reputation will be down. Because of that, teacher need a plan that called lesson plan.

To make a good lesson plan teacher need to consider some points that be good characteristic of lesson plan. Firstly lesson must have an aim, purpose or objective. This is very important and must be clear to get a successful learning outcomes. Second, a good lesson plan must have variety of activities. This  help teacher to make the learning proccess comfy the students and it avoid the students feel bore because awkward activities. Third, lesson plan contain useful materies and useful objective in that lesson. Useful means it can reach the objective. The materies are good and may apply by the students in their real-world. For example, the lesson are about narrative text and the matery tell about “Candi Borobudur”, so, beside the student understand about narrative text the student also get more knowledge about cultural information. Fourth, it must flexible. Lesson plan should flexible to avoid  if something unexpected happens. For example, the lesson will use projector as a media but suddenly the projector broke, automatically teacher must use other media to continue the lesson. And third, in lesson plan should have Assessment. It provide information to show that the aim are achieve and the lesson get success. Teacher cannot successfully continue with the lesson if students do not achieve the objective.
